We acquired this building on behalf of the 690 Market Joint Venture with Marriott for a number of strategic reasons. The building allowed the addition of parking all at same basement level versus costly subterranean excavation as well as offering more amenities for 690 Market that could not fit into the building. In addition we were able to capture the benefits of neighboring a Ritz Carlton flagged property. The building was built out to serve 690 Market and sold to a new owner.
